Hi wonderful community! I’ve been finding it a bit clunky to have announcements nestled in with the weekly Annea’rah Speaks passage- it makes the vibe and frequency feel a bit fragmented. SO welcome to Emerging and Burgeoning, an occasional free newsletter to let you know of updates and opportunities in the community.
This is a great place, by the way, to offer your own news. So if you have an opportunity, upcoming event, or update to share, send it along to me! I can’t promise to publish every single one, but I’ll do my very best. Ok! Onto the updates!
AUDIO BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT
I’ve been receiving questions about creating an audiobook for Annea’rah Speaks: A Tale of Creation as Told by the Fae. A big part of this book is the experience of the Old Tongue, the Elder Language of the Fae, which can be difficult to “hear” in your head when you read.
SO!
To hold myself accountable for creating the audio files for the audiobook, I will be releasing a once-per-week serial podcast, where I read the book aloud for our community of paying subscribers.
The audio will be unedited, so you will be listening along to the raw, uncut experience complete with my best attempt at accents. I anticipate each audio section being about 20-25 minutes, and I’ll include page numbers in the title, so you can follow along.
The serial will begin Friday, May 2, and it will show up in your inbox in addition to the “Annea’rah Speaks” weekly wisdom passage.

Call for Proposals from Imagery International
I am excited to announce that Imagery International, an incredible, supportive community of healers and visionaries, is calling for proposals for their 17th International Conference (virtual). I am attaching links and information at the bottom of the newsletter if you’d like to pop to the end right away.
I presented “When the Heart Speaks: Heeding the Still Small Voice” last year at the conference, and was blown away by the talent, genius, wisdom, warmth, and welcoming beauty of the whole community. If you are a healer, or you have practiced within the lineage of guided imagery, or if you have something to teach that is related to this healing and ascension modality, I highly recommend you submit a proposal!
If you’d like to learn more about imagery, which is one of the healing lineages I am trained in, I recommend reading Kabbalah of Light by Dr. Catherine Shainberg, anything by Gerald Epstein, and/or anything by Colette Albouker-Muscat.
Light Language Activation Workshop
Speaking of Imagery International, I was invited to give a Light Language Activation Workshop for the community. It will be on May 8th at 5Pm MST. $15 for non-members, but I am allowed a guest (if that’s you, DM me here on Substack or email me). Imagery International is excited to announce our theme, Awakening and Illuminating Our World with Imagery.
The Imagery International Conference brings together diverse imagery practitioners from various fields to share how they use imagery in their work, as it relates to each year's theme. Past presenters have included nurses, therapists, curanderas, artists, shamans, movement professionals, coaches and others. Shared practices ranged from guided, interactive, integrative imagery to hypnotherapy, dream tending, depth psychology, storytelling, movement experiences and more.
What do the words, "Awakening” or “illuminating” evoke for you? If you are inspired, we invite you to submit a proposal to share your imagery experience and practices in a workshop at this year’s conference.
To be considered, your workshop presentation must:
Align with our conference theme.
Include a course outline which reflects the use of both experiential activities and lecture, with the emphasis on experiential.
Fit within a 90-minute total timeframe, including 15 minutes for audience Q&A at the end. (Your presentation will be 75 minutes.)
Please note: All parts of the application must be completed when submitted. Otherwise, the proposal will not be considered.
The proposal deadline is May 09, 2025. However, the earlier we receive your proposal the better!
